By the time I am at the computer typing this, my mind is already in bed ZZzzzz. But well, I have always enjoyed softball trip to taiwan. Partly because every trip is always an eye opener...even before our first match.
Day 1 actually started at 1020 at Changi Airport. Everyone was on time and checking in was smooth. 2 movies and a hearty inflight meal, we touched down, greeted by the Guide, Jeff. The first stop is Flyup Baseball and softball equipment store.....think the "mecca" of Softballers shopping needs with 30%discount. Guess the boss can chalk up enough sales to close for tomorrow. Boys really can shop. I have never doubted that fact :-)
Strangely, nobody complaint of getting hungry. The power of softball retail therapy.
When all are done shopping for softball gears, it was a short walk to the Shilin Tourist Night Market. Though it is not as authentic as the roadside one that I used to visit, guess it is safer and less complicated for big group like us. But food taste good! Seriously, food does not taste good just because we are hungry, it is Great! The Boys agreed to that when they sank their teeth to the big fat juicy steak. But Steak in Taiwan? Not mee sua? Mr Toh, Miss Lee and Myself stuck to local delicacies....can miss the chance.
I wonder if the boys can still sleep with a FULL stomach.
But guess they will have to catch some sleep as we will have 2 afternoon matches with Shilin High School tomorrow. The scheduling is just right. OK enough..photos
